| 英文描述 | A muscular dystrophy characterized by progressive stiffness and weakness followed by muscle atrophy has been seen in dogs. There is atrophy and fibrosis in muscle tissue. Muscular dystropy which is an X-linked recessive has been described in several breeds. Clinical signs begin when the animals are puppies. There is skeletal muscle necrosis and increased serum activity of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and creatine kinase (CK). Prognosis is poor. Dx by history, serum enzymes, electromyography, and muscle biopsy. |
